Bookstore
You will find great deals on great reads in our used bookstore. Located just off the library lobby, the FHLA Resale Bookstore carries a wide variety of materials for patrons of all ages. Managed and staffed strictly by volunteers, and stocked with donated materials, nearly 100% of all proceeds goes into the FHLA coffers for use in supporting library programs.
Special Sales and Features!
Our Feature Table, clearance carts and other featured items are located just outside the bookstore. You'll find special collections, featured authors, older books, books that are a bit worn, and other items. You can often find a great bargain book or hard to find item. Watch for our special sales carts on overstock items. You'll find some really great deals!
Donating Books
If you have a handful of books to donate, drop them off at the Resale Bookstore. If you have a trunk full or a truck full, call ahead and we'll arrange to meet you at our storage area drive up doors. Call 602-652-3263. You may also call the bookstore manager, Gerry Colbert, at 480-816-8644.
Hot sellers include: Recent fiction, Children's books, Cook books, Books on arts and crafts, Audio books, Current magazines, Recent or holiday movies (DVD).
Slow movers include: Older fiction and magazines, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, Text books, VHS movies.
